This rumor seems to have some legs because Middle Ground, Prison Reform reported that some current PC prisoners have reported that they have been interviewed by SSU staff about moving them to GP. Once a person has been in PC, and is considered a "snitch" by other inmates for any reason, he can never return to general population, even if he leaves prison and returns on another sentence later on. Well apparently this was attempted in the past and obviously didn't work, but I have no doubt AZDOC will attempt and fail no doubt. Just a lil FYI in 2014 there was over 9000 PC Prisoners in AZDOC. DAM....
ARIZONA SOON BE MOVING PRISONERS WHO WERE FORMERLY CLASSIFIED AS PROTECTIVE SEGREGATION INMATES INTO GENERAL POPULATION ON THE THEORY THAT SOME OF THEM NO LONGER "NEED" PROTECTION?
